This weeks Q/A:
Are you reading baby books again? I’m not reading any baby books this go around. I was so aware of my body, changes, and symptoms during the first pregnancy. Being so preoccupied with Vivienne and work, I sometimes forget I am pregnant with the lack of symptoms (other than this growing bump of course). Excited to feel some kicks! .
What books do you recommend? I went super old school and liked What to Expect When You’re Expecting. I didn’t mind all the information when first learning about it all.
Last pregnancy you ate runny eggs, are you still doing that this pregnancy? If no, what has changed your mindset? I had a few runny eggs during my last pregnancy, and more at the end. I surprised myself with how lenient I became with foods, alcohol, etc. I think its just important to be moderate, know where you’re getting your eggs from (I typically will make my own vs ordering them at a restaurant) and always make sure the cheese is pasteurized. You can drive yourself crazy over every little thing you can’t do when you are pregnant. Enjoy it- research, cook your own, talk to your doctor, moderation.
Be sure to send over your questions for next week!
xoxo,
Lola
