I am so excited to share some details about Alice’s 1st birthday. A party that was meant to be super casual at our house, quickly turned into a need to be offsite, as our home was too small for the 40+ people who came to celebrate.
Alice in Onederland, a theme that was too good to pass up. Although I am not a HUGE fan of the movie, it sounded adorable and I made plans to create more a tea party theme over Alice in Wonderland. Everything turned out perfect and I was able to find majority of my decorations on Etsy and at Target.
We decided to have a two hour party, from 10am-12pm at Cafe Au Plait. Not only is this an adorable local cafe, but has an enclosed large play area for kids. Honestly, it couldn’t have worked out better. Kids played, we ate, we enjoyed mimosas, and sang Happy Birthday to Alice before everyone went home to put their kids down for naps. It was the perfect party.
