Q/A of the week:
Did you have a hard time getting pregnant the first time? Read, “the true meaning of trying” post.
How much caffeine do you drink? I think I’ve answered this one before, but I typically drink a cup in the morning and then save the rest for chocolate in the afternoon.
What brand breast pump did you use? Medela Freestyle
Are you nervous to have 2? I think I’m going to need to mentally prepare for that newborn stage again… but I am SO excited to complete our family and watch Vivienne become a big sister. I think she’s going to be amazing.
What will be the biggest challenge becoming a mom of 2? Balancing it all again and of course, trying to manage being a mom to a toddler and newborn.
Do you still have your nanny? We do have a part-time nanny that is with Vivienne in the morning before her nap while JJ works from home. The schedule has been working out great for us and we hope/plan to continue to use her help when baby #2 arrives.
How do you deal with weight gain? My body takes pretty well to pregnancy, although I def started to show way sooner than my first pregnancy this time around. I love the bump and it doesn’t bother me at all! Per my doctor, I am right on track to where I need to be.
When did you have to start switching to all maternity clothes? Gosh, I feel like when I found out I was pregnant I was in maternity clothes. Kidding. But since I had all my old clothes to wear, I brought them out sooner and started wearing a lot of dresses and stretchy options. It all depended on the article of clothing to be honest.
Do you have mom guilt? I think it would be strange to not have mom guilt. Refer to week 20 update. xo!
Feel free to keep the questions coming! Love answering them for you.
xoxo
