This week, we are officially FULL TERM! I couldn’t be more excited and grateful for this stage of pregnancy. I am starting to feel more and more ready for the day to get here, as I’ve been having some burning and pressure pains down below, peeing way too often (the holy sh*t I have to pee feeling), and not sleeping my best. Actually, I’ve been sleeping HORRIBLE. Waking up with butt and leg cramps, constantly flipping over, Lucy sleeping next to me or in between my legs, just uncomfortable. I am ready to start sleeping on my back and stomach again.
The pains started a couple weeks ago, as she is dropping down … her head is putting more pressure on ‘down there’ and then bobbing back up which relieves the pain. My muscles are also stretching so that is another cause. The pain has the ability to really stop me in my tracks and make me concentrate on breathing. It’s the worst when this happens in a public place. On Sunday, I had all these plans to run errands, but the sharp pains kept me from leaving the couch the second half of the day. So you can imagine, I am starting to feel more and more ready for this pregnancy to be over.
