We have officially made it to 30 weeks! 10 more to go, and next week I start month 8 of this pregnancy. I can’t believe how quickly the weeks are flying by and before we know it, she’ll be here!
This week baby girl has felt extra large and has some serious moves. The most she has consistently moved throughout this pregnancy and I am so happy that JJ can finally feel her all the time. I just love sitting back after a meal or now, all the time and feel her roll, kick, and move. It’s the best feeling. I have felt a little more tired than usual this week as well. Perhaps its the 3rd trimester kicking in to kick my butt on feeling tired again. I hope it’ll pass.
So, am I ready? I have a few things on my list to do … 1. Find a Pediatrician 2. Sign up for disability leave 3. Take prenatal classes 4. Have a baby shower (that is still 4 weeks away.. eek!) 5. Nursery Nursery Nursery 6. Read baby books 7. Enjoy the downtime and date nights with my husband!
Just a little brief scenario on how its all going… still plenty to do over here! haha Oh well. I think once the shower is over, I’ll feel the most prepared as I’ll have the majority of things needed if she happens to give us an early arrival.

Size of baby: 15.7 inches and 2.9lb., current status is the size of a cabbage

Total weight gain: 18.4
Maternity clothes: Yes and embracing maternity! There’s no escaping it.
Stretch marks: None. Citrine Beauty Bar recently gifted me with the Tata Harper Redefining Body Balm and it is amazing!
Sleep: Sleeping 7-8 hours a night.
Best moment of this week:
Miss anything: Sushi and a chilled glass of wine/champagne on these hot summer days
Movement: Rolling, kicking, punching… all the time and loving it.
Food cravings: None to note
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Have you started to show yet: Yes
Gender: GIRL!!!
Labor signs: None
Belly button in or out: Depends on her position, but pretty out there.
Wedding rings on or off: Unfortunately, off. This pregnancy has made me have a terrible reaction to my wedding rings.
Happy or moody most of the time: SO happy!
Looking forward to: A staycation, dinner, and spa day at Omni Montelucia this weekend with JJ
