My least favorite thing in our home to make a decision on are rugs; which is why we don’t have a lot of them. Perhaps it’s the commitment, price, and variety of options that always has me torn… but it’s also the fact that I don’t have it in me to choose patterns or a lot of color for a room. Will it look good? Does it go with the rest of the décor? The process is daunting to me. I need to get myself a good rug shopper in my life. Any takers?
As you all know, we have started to get our nursery together this past month and a rug was definitely on our list. The long grueling search began. I pinned, I searched, and concluded with feeling overwhelmed with options per usual. I didn’t have anything in mind other than wanting something neutral and cozy for her room. Rugs USA reached out and offered to provide rugs of our choice (within certain measurement requirements) to bring our vision to life. I chose a large fluffy faux sheepskin rug in the color natural, aka the closest thing to white there was and a white jute rug to go under the sheepskin. They both arrived in perfect condition, with a non slip pad to go underneath. I haven’t exactly decided the location of both rugs yet, and once all the furniture and décor is here… I’ll be able to play around with the final touches a bit more. But loving how it’s all coming together.
