Intro to our Home Projects

October 1, 2014

We have officially retired as wedding guests this year!! Love you all and we had a blast traveling all over the place … but we are ready to make our house a home.

We closed in January and packed up our final uhaul. Luckily for us we only had to travel 15 minutes south this time to North Phoenix. We had a few immediate projects that we wanted completed before getting settled. Painting was a must.  Below are some photos from the previous owners listing.

The walls were beige, trim was dark wood and carpets were clearly brutally beaten throughout the years. We had laminate floors put in all three bedrooms, had our entire house painted cotton white with pure white trim, had a pantry built in the room off the kitchen and storage added in our master closet by Classy Closets. After that we dedicated our wallets to flying all over to see our friends and family get married. Now, we are back to focusing on the home and I am so excited about that.  Below are the projects we had done at the beginning. So happy how it all turned out and might I add, picking paint colors was pure hell. Too many choices for my soul.

How we slept for about 1-2 months waiting for our floors to come in. At least Lucy was comfortable.

Today, we start one of our house projects. The back door. This single door not only leaves too much wall space, but constantly jams up on us. Although we could easily get the door hinges fixed, we decided to invest in french doors as it will bring in so much more light.

Excited to share more projects as they come with you.

Stay tuned…

Be Kind,
Lola
