When we first had Vivienne, it felt like an eternity getting through the first six months. Maybe it was the fact that I was also working a full-time job at the office, which meant full-time pumping, and her milestone growth felt slow and steady. Now, after having Alice, our second baby girl, the time no longer feels slow. I look at yesterday, we did a family studio shoot and I couldn’t help but look at how grown my two babies were. Alice is basically sitting up and Vivienne took direction like a champ. It made me take a step back, appreciate the now, and realize that I need to continue to live only for the present. So… this post is a reminder to hug your babies, take SO many photos, and just ENJOY it all (even all the crazy).
