Best moment of this week: Getting through all my last maintenance appointments- it may sound odd or unnecessary, but it just makes me feel happy to feel a little more put together and “ready.”
Movement:Yes! So much movement.
Food cravings: Ice cream or some treat at night after dinner, always.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Have you started to show yet:Yes
Gender: GIRL
Happy or moody most of the time: Feeling good. A little tired though
Looking forward to: Baby girls arrival.
Q/A of the week:
Anything you would do differently? I think you are always learning and making changes along the way. Theres nothing I would have done differently with V, but I may make transitions sooner with this one.
Baby/night nurse? Neither.
Whats the first bottle of wine you plan to open after baby? I have a bottle of Caymus with my name on it.
How do you think Vivienne will act with her sister? I think she will be a little stalker haha I think we will have trouble having her not want to be around the baby- but thats adjusting and everyone goes through something.
Do you plan to breastfeed? Yes. For same amount of time as Vivienne if I can (a year).
Who will be in delivery room? JJ and my photographer, Jennica.
Did baby get Vivienne a present? I probably should have done this sooner, but she will have a little something for her to open at the hospital. But she’d be happy receiving anything! Feel free to leave your suggestions.
How much weight did you gain? I don’t like to discuss weight in this process as everyone is so different and do not feel the need for myself or anyone else to compare. Just base your weight off of what your doctor feels is healthy and safe.
What was worse delivering V or the placenta? I don’t even remember delivering the placenta. So… V. ha!
Who do you think she will look like? I HOPE she looks like Vivienne.
Any advice for a first- time mom? Remain calm in everything you do. I have a strong feeling that babies sense our strength and demeanor so much.
Signs of labor or dilated? 3 cm dilated as of last week and def some contractions but not consistent.
