Home Sweet Home with HelloFresh

If you haven’t noticed, we’ve been all over the place the last 3 months. From San Diego, Paris, Kaua’i, and now back to Phoenix; it’s been a whirlwind for us (yet, I’m not actually complaining) and not to mention, all the while traveling with a toddler. Alas, we are officially back home, settling in, and so happy to be in our personal space again.

I love to travel. It’s probably one of my favorite things to do when I’m not working (or perhaps, still working) but the one thing I dread when coming home is to immediately have to go to the store and do a large grocery haul for the week. Am I right? The worst. As if we don’t already have a long list of things to do before our work week starts (unpack, laundry, meal plan, restructure nap time, etc.). The list goes on.

Yet, knowing the list ahead of me, I did something a little different this time around. I planned and ordered a HelloFresh box to be delivered to us on Monday, so we could instantly check off “grocery store” from our to-do list. Having our meals planned and available to us for the week is a game changer. Can I just say it? I’m brilliant.

So, what exactly is HelloFresh?

HelloFresh is a meal delivery service that delivers fresh and delicious ingredients to your doorstep with simple and easy instructions to follow that will make you excited to cook and try their new recipes. Choose the option of cooking with meat, vegetarian style, for your entire family, or table for two. If you’re interested in using HelloFresh for longer than a week, never fear the issue of receiving the same meal twice; they provide an ever-changing menu. Going out of town? Change the day your delivery arrives or feel free to pause for weeks at a time. HelloFresh is easy to use and at your service.

So, its Thursday night, we’ve had four meals so far, and I can honestly say it’s a great option for busy families. I love the fact that the recipes only take 30 minutes to cook, with pre-measured ingredients so you don’t have to do extra steps along the way and I spend less time in the kitchen, and more time with my family before Vivienne goes to sleep. 30 minutes! That’s it! Totally doable. My favorite recipe so far has been the flatbread pizza (obviously, anything pizza related is a win to me). Have you tried this service before? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the process. If not, go ahead and try HelloFresh for yourself and let me know which recipe you liked best! Bon Appetit!
