As a first time mama, a perfect and practical diaper bag was essential on my pre-baby list. I was looking for the bag with all the bells and whistles, but more importantly… a bag that didn’t scream THIS BAG HAS DIAPERS IN IT. I wanted pockets, quality, and even more pockets to store ALL the baby goods, and I suppose fitting in my wallet and phone wouldn’t hurt too.
So, how are we doing 8 months later?
The Madeline Lily-Jade bag is still absolutely perfect and helps keep us organized on a daily basis. The bag we chose is a classic black leather with red interior, that comes with a changing pad and a machine washable insert with even more pockets than the physical bag itself. Pockets people, pockets! So, what do we typically keep inside?
Diapers, wipes, sanitizer, a nursing cover, wet/dry bag, a teething toy, Babyganics products, burp cloth, and an extra outfit for Vivienne. We have all the necessary essentials available all the time! From a local Arizona restaurant or taking flight to San Diego, this bag gives us the ability to store so many items, keep us organized (which is honestly #1 for me) and is completely durable in the process. I wouldn’t know what to do if we accidentally left our diaper bag at home. Added bonus? JJ doesn’t mind rocking it around town either.
