The good news is we survived the 120 degree heat this weekend, the bad news? We’re still dealing with it. After waking up and getting my shoot done early on Saturday morning, I spent the rest of the day cleaning before picking JJ up from the airport. We attended a birthday party that evening and stopped by The Upton at night, to head home at 1am. I am pretty sure it may be more dangerous to drive home exhausted than drunk (joking but not joking). Sunday was spent doing absolutely nothing. Literally. You know those days when you lounge so hard that you end up being exhausted for no reason? That was me yesterday. Yet, sometimes those days are needed.
What I really wanted to get done, I didn’t… which was blog. I have SO much to catch up on and I plan to do that this week and weekend. So stayed tuned for some more updates on pregnancy and house, staycation, and life in general.
