Sedona + Halloween

November 2, 2015

Unfortunately, I was only able to get my Dog of the Week post in last week before heading to Sedona for a little R&R. I love the fact that Sedona is only two hours away. We stayed in a beautiful house and was able to capture some beautiful photos while there. I don’t know about you but I get so much anxiety when I visit Sedona. Does anyone else feel that way? I am not an anxious person nor do I ever get anxiety… but Sedona, yes!

We got home on Friday to our two guests, Danny and Julianne’s arrival. We all have so much fun together so it was awesome to have them come to visit. Julianne and I went hiking Saturday morning, followed by an amazing brunch at St. Francis in central Phoenix. The food is so good there and as always… get the pancake skillet (and eggs benedict!) Later that night, we all got dressed up for Halloween and spent the night downtown at Crescent Ballroom. Stephanie of SN Makeup Artist came over to do our makeup before and NAILED IT. I truthfully just want her to move in with me. Is that so much to ask? We arrived early enough to enjoy checking out peoples costumes and having a few cocktails before it got very crowded. Unfortunately, I dealt with an annoying contact all night, driving me to wear glasses an hour or so in. Ordering white contacts for my costume, I had no time to deal with getting a prescription pair in time and decided to stack them on top of each other.  Not comfortable. So alas, glasses came on and I turned into a hipster Goth chick. More importantly, we did get some cool shots before going out.

Enjoy!
