Confessions of a Hairstylist x Whatlolalikes: Dutch Braid Faux Hawk Pony

About a month ago I did my second hair and outfit pairing with Jenny Strebe of Confessions of a Hairstylist. You can see the first tutorial and outfit details here. I love a good faux mohawk. The style gives off an edgy vibe to any woman looking to stand out.

I paired this hairstyle with a few staple closet pieces such as my favorite leather shorts and white button down layered with a long fur vest. These particular shorts are are one of my favorite items because they are so versitile. You can wear them with heels for a night out in the city or paired with a cozy sweater and flats while running your weekend errands.

Before the tutorial, I had my makeup done by the very talented Stephanie of SN Makeup. I had been stalking her work via Instagram for a few months prior, so you can imagine my excitement to get the chance to work together. Not to mention she is an incredibly sweet person.
