When discussing a future collaboration with the oh so talented hairstylist, Confessions of a Hairstylist; Jenny offered to do my hair for one night during Phoenix Fashion Week. I went into her salon Saturday mid -day with no guideline in mind as to what I wanted to do. After a quick decision to go with a trendy up do, Jenny mastered an on the spot knotted Mohawk. When I say on the spot, I mean this entirely literal. She completed this hairstyle in what felt like a matter of minutes. And as you can see, a work of art. You better believe I strutted down the street at 1pm to meet my husband for a drink at R&R… ‘Excuse me, Mohawk comin’ through!’

Saturday was the last night of Phoenix Fashion Week. It had been a long and some what exhausting couple of days. From Wednesday to Saturday night; I woke up early to get ready, work a full day, run home to freshen up and change to get to Talking Stick Resort by 6:30-7pm. On a good night I was home and in bed by 11pm (mind you my bedtime is 9pm). This night I invited my friend Katrina of The Foxy Kat to go with me. Like myself, Katrina is a fashion blogger who has a similar interest in trendy style and these type of events, so I knew should would enjoy the experience. We had a great time watching the runway, snapping photos and conversing with other fashion bloggers like Claire of Beauty and a Bargain.
Below are the emerging and established designers of closing night of Phoenix Fashion Week:
