I always find myself saying, “I feel old,” to people who are much older than me this year. They always give me an ‘are you kidding me’ look and I blush back wondering, what was I thinking? I understand I am still YOUNG and might I add, live young; but for the first time I’ve actually started to think about growing older. It may have been the moment the clock turned 12am on July 24th or the fact that I felt like a 55 year-old lady shopping in Hollister as I walked through H&M the other day, but regardless… something feels different.
My birthday started Wednesday, July 23rd with a group of girlfriends and I dining at The House Brasserie. I highly recommend trying the Berkshire Pork Belly – Pork Belly with Kimchi Udon Noodle topped with a fried egg.. yes please! The following night, JJ and I started with a drink at Jade Bar and ended at an amazing Italian restaurant in Old Town called Franco’s Italian Caffe. The day was perfecto. I sincerely appreciated all the love from all my friends and family that day.

The following weekend we rented a terrace suite at Hotel Valley Ho for a cocktail evening with friends followed by a night out in old town. A luxury boutique hotel in Downtown Scottsdale with a mid-century modern design and a trendy day pool during the summer. Clearly I was dreaming of Fall when I got dressed this evening. I appreciate everyone who came to celebrate with us. I had a fabulous birthday.
