A few months ago I was approached by Dakota Daetwiler of Dakota’s Designs with interest to trade custom art work for a blog post. There was no doubt in my mind as this girl is an extremely talented artist. I immediately fancied her portraits but couldnt picture my husband and I with a custom portrait of ourselves hanging in our own home; so I opted for a beautiful white horse to hang in our sitting room. The piece was perfect. She completely captured my vision of the white horse, while using her own style for details. I highly recommend Dakota for your next custom painting or gift.

About the artist:
Dakota Daetwiler, age 25 was born and raised from a small town in Northern California. A completely self taught artist and gallery owner, Dakota has a huge passion for painting with big aspirations to make a name for herself. “My goal is to be able to travel the world and sell my paintings so I can be in a position to help children who are born into bad situations from all over the world. Painting is my passion in life and I am beyond blessed to be able to do it for a living.” Dakota takes custom orders and comission work on portraits, landscape or anything you might want painted for your home or for someone special in your life.
