A few weeks ago my sister came up with this marvelous idea and amazing gift for my father’s 65th birthday to fly me out to spend the weekend in Rehoboth Beach for a family vacation. It was extremely difficult for me to keep a secret for as long as I did especially when my mother gets upset on the phone because she misses me. My flight was 3.5 hours delayed on Friday… the day I am supposed to get in at 8am to NYC and spend the morning having breakfast with 3 of some of my favorite people: Natalie, Christa and Nikki.. which clearly got canceled along with my delay. Regardless, my father was just as excited on the phone for the surprise… and my mom was very surprised to see me pop out of the car when we got there.
The weekend consisted of the Rusty Rudder, Coconut Rum, King’s Cup, Maxi dresses, Rides, Beach, Seafood, Grotto’s Pizza, and best of all Family!
