Q/A of the week:

How do you deal with body changes and weight gain? I only weigh myself at the doctors office and honestly, don’t pay too much attention to it. I know that my body will bounce back eventually and am so proud at what it can do. Why be upset about a little weight gain? I actually felt the best after having V with my body. Milk boobs and a little curves, my young self dreams!

Whats been the hardest part about pregnancy so far? Some of the back and groin pains.

Are you nervous about the birth or calm? Trying not to think about it too much. What can you do?

How did you decide what to keep and toss from V for baby #2? Great question. I have been in a major detox the house mood, so honestly, so much is going. If I don’t use it, goodbye! I purchased a few things new (diaper pal, medicine, latch pillow, bottle warmer, pump parts, etc). that I know I’ll use again. I never used swaddle blankets or baby wraps, so I am donating everything that I don’t plan to use with V.

Breastfeeding tips? Everyone is different and not everyone can handle or physically do it. It’s OK. I know everyone and physicians will encourage it but do what is best for you and baby. A well fed baby is better than anything else! If you are just starting to breastfeed and having issues, try a lactation specialist to give you tips and a great nipple cream!

How long of a break will you take after giving birth? I have no idea. Maybe none, maybe a lot. Can’t really say specific amount of time.

Are you excited to see V as a big sister? I am! A little nervous. I think she will be great but I also think she will be VERY curious… maybe too curious. Haha I can only imagine her wanting to hold her every 5 minutes.

Was it herd going back to work after having V? Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. Cried for days… weeks. It DOES get easier though.

Favorite part of pregnancy? The food and feeling great in my skin.

Keep the questions coming every week!

xoxo
