The story of Angelo is simple. A SERIOUSLY sweet, potty-trained 6 year old was brought to the shelter by his owners when they decided to move out of state and not take him with them. How does this even happen? I will say this again and again, if you are not able to care for a dog for their lifetime… do not get a dog. How sad for Angelo that he went from a cozy (hopefully) house to a crate in a shelter waiting for new owners.
Angelo and I took ourselves to the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa for a little R&R. Comfortable, beautiful, and might I add.. pet friendly! Pet friendly is always a plus in my book as JJ and I would never staycation without them. I lounged in a pair of ripped jean shorts, classic white sneakers, and this amazing button down with geometric detail by Magali Pascal. I’m a fan of the classic white fitted shirt, as everyone needs a few of them in their closet. This one is sexy, yet sophisticated. It can be worn like so during the day or dressed up paired with leather pants and high heels. Magali Pascal never disappoints.
Angelo is a Yorkie-Terrier mix between 5 and 6 years old. He is friendly with dogs, cats and kids and most of all, humans! He is active, affectionate and will follow his humans wherever they go. Angelo is housebroken and crate-trained and does well on both leash and in the car. His adoption fee is $260 which includes all shots, neuter and microchip.
The kicker? Angelo was also left behind with his sister, Ciara. I unfortunately do not have much information on Ciara other than she is a Chihuahua mix, 5-6 years old, and just as laid back as Angelo. These two grew up together so the thought of separating the two is not ideal to AZSDR.
