The Color White
Is white actually considered a color? I’d think so.
Before I dig deep into this post, I wanted to share a little bit about my weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed theirs! I’m pretty exhausted this Monday morning yet excited to have time to get back to the gym!
The craziness started on Wednesday night when I attended a rap show with Brianna at Livewire in downtown Scottsdale. Her husband Matt was the drummer for the night with rapper, Whitney Peyton. I didn’t really know what to expect but it ended up being so dope. If you follow me on snapchat (@whatlolalikess) than you probably saw a few clips from the show. On Thursday, Brianna and I attended the Shane Co. Holiday party where they featured their latest collection, Toyland. It was fun to check out the diamonds while sipping champagne and seeing some friendly faces. On Friday, JJ returned from Washington and we attended my company holiday dinner. A lot of carbs and wine, that I’m clearly not complaining about. On Saturday, JJ and I had a styled wedding shoot with Marisa Grabowy of Marisa Belle Photography and Risa Kostis of Ristyle Consulting. The day was long but everything about this shoot was perfect. From the style, location, makeup/hair, décor… etc. it was amazing. I think the best part of this shoot was the amount of talent and inspirational people surrounding me all day. I am so excited to be apart of this and share with you some of these beautiful images. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Arizona, The Paseo in Apache Junction is absolutely stunning! Saturday night we attended our friends housewarming/holiday party, ending the night having a glass of wine with family. Sunday was another busy day. I did a collaborative holiday shoot with Toni and Shannon (Shannon Gilpin Photography) of AZ Foothills Magazine, Tara of Tara Hair, Stephanie of SN Makeup Artist, and Crush Boutique. This shoot turned out really cool and the team was absolutely on point. So excited to see the outcome of this shoot. The afternoon was spent picking out a pup and doing my weekly blog shoot with my photographer, Jennica. At this point, I was hangry, tired, and completely cranky. Sorry, Jennica! 🙂
So, now that we have this long weekend done with… I have a few more events/shoots this coming week. I am so grateful that I have been working with such amazing people lately. Can’t wait to show you!
Now, let’s talk about this white outfit. Sent to me from Bless’ed Are the Meek, I was instantly obsessed and eager to put it on. I mean, can you blame me? White on white and a silk floor length wrap vest? Come on. It’s too good. I wore this the night I went to Scottsdale Fashion Week a couple of weeks ago and I felt amazing in it all night. Worn with nothing underneath, kept the look classic with a hint of sexy.
