NEW YORK IN A WORD / ELUSIVE
From Latin eludere
1. Hard to comprehend or define
2. Difficult to catch, find, or achieve
I am fully aware that I am no super model, in fact.. not even close. But if I were a model, I’d imagine my off-duty style to go a little something like this. High-waisted black jeans paired with a tied logo tank/tee with nude heels and a classic satchel.
If you haven’t yet heard of the brand, Commune and Memoir… you’re welcome. I’m in love. The NY-based brand makes t-shirts that tell the story of New York City in 8 different words: Galvanic, Spectral, Idyllic, Abrasive, Pervasive, Inexhaustible, Fervent, and Elusive. “We elevate the city as a work of art that the public can observe, interpret and describe through curated words, offering
an alternative to images as a trip memoir. The words derive from a vast “word collection” that we have been jotting down for years.”
Comfortable, stylish, and brilliant. These tops bring me back to such a happy place where I would whisk through the train station to work every morning explore the glorious city streets at night. New York is truly an amazing city and I love that this company wants to celebrate just how unique this place really is.
