Buttoned up

March 19, 2015

Before I get started, please take a moment to scroll down to see that I am in fact wearing multiple pieces of jewelry! This is a rare occasion and I’m slightly impressed with myself. As stated many times before, I would consider myself to be a minimalist with accessorizing outfits. Simple studded earrings, a dainty necklace and my wedding rings have always been my go-to (actually the necklace is pushing it). I can’t say I don’t love jewelry and the fact that they can 100% complete your outfit; it has just always stayed low priority on my to buy list… next to perfume and belts of course. Anyone else struggle with this?

While shopping, I had always kept my eye out for the perfect button up. Don’t be confused with stiff white shirts that majority of women wear to work during the week. The easily tucked in, comfortable tunic that can be worn on a night out or while running errands ; paired with any bottom or shoe is ideal. I give you the Nomad shirt by Suburban Riot. I paired this tunic with short black shorts, strappy sandals and silver accessories by Anarchy Street. Since the material is slightly see through, it gives off a sexy vibe worn with a lace bra or wear it long as a pool cover up. Either way, you can’t go wrong.
