Banana Peanut Butter Faux Ice Cream

LADIES, LADIES, LADIES
& gentlemen.
I have recreated greatness.

A dessert too close to ice cream, you’ll never care to go back.
No dairy, No added refined sugars, No artificial flavors.
An all-natural clean dessert.
I had never heard of this recipe before seeing a pinterest post by Two Peas and Their Pod a few weeks ago, but after extensive research, this is no new found recipe. This is the fourth time I have made this dessert; and although it takes the process of development and ripe bananas laying around, I have never been more happy to make this on a weekly/daily basis.
This time around I added chopped clean peanut butter cups to top it off 🙂
Ingredients
(1 serving)
1 large very ripe banana
1 scoop of all-natural peanut butter

*I use Adam’s Natural Peanut Butter, which contains 99% fresh roasted peanuts with just a dash of salt,
contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives; and NO added sugar and 0 grams of trans fatty acids.
 Directions
Peel bananas and slice into 1/2 inch discs. Arrange banana slices in a single layer on a large plate or baking sheet. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
Place the banana slices in a food processor or powerful blender (Food processor works better I think). Puree banana slices, scraping down the bowl as needed. Puree until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Add the peanut butter and puree to combine. Serve immediately for soft-serve ice cream consistency. If you prefer harder ice cream, place in the freezer for a few hours and then serve.

Enjoy!
