First Class Cooking with Emily Dellas

Last night, Kendra and I took a cooking class in the city, First Class Cooking with Emily Dellas. The class was held at Emily’s beautiful loft in SOMA. Her apartment was very welcoming with the comfort of looking like a New York City apartment, which felt like home to me. The duration of the class, Emily discussed cooking techniques while giving each person a task for the menu below. One of the best lessons I took from this class was learning a better way to cut herbs! I am anxious to re-create the meal for a dinner party; especially the flatbread, salad, and vodka spritz! A fun class I recommend going with a girlfriend or significant other to learn a few new things in the kitchen! A lemon squeeze, bench scraper, bamboo steamer and new knives are on my list to add to my kitchen. Thank you Emily! Another item to check off my summer bucket list.
